There’s a lot to pick and choose, then you get right into it for possibly hours. ![]() ![]() You can adjust the world size, faction types and the difficulty. You customize the situation, and just get playing right away. The standard scenario creation is where this thrives, and the place I like to play the most in these types of games. There are a number of campaign missions to play, and they can take quite awhile. It’s not at all bad, just not in-depth as I would have desired. It’s mostly just bits of dialogue as you work through fairly standard missions. That being said, the campaign could have had a stronger narrative element to it. It’s a ton of fun, and there’s quite a lot of content to it. Age of Wonders: Planetfall delivers a fairly comprehensive package, and one that you can easily spend countless hours playing. You’re out there in space competing for various landmasses whether you’re working through the campaign, battling in quick custom scenarios or facing off against up to eight players online.
